My name is Alex Kniess and I’m currently living in Eugene, OR trying to figure out how to change the world. I attend the University of Oregon, and as of September, 2008, I began my quick descent from college senior bliss to real-world working man.

The title of this site is derived from a quote by Bob Dylan.  It reads:

What’s Money? A man is a success if he gets up in the morning and goes to bed at night and in between does what he wants to do

So I believe that true success cannot be monetized. Rather, success is a state-of-mind – one which I will use this website to explore.

The purpose of this website will be to chronicle my path through college, my career, and my life. Along the way I will share my passions for business, marketing, advertising, photography, technology, and knowledge. The blog will probably not be updated frequently and the content will be sporadic. Both facts reflect my current state of mind.
